Being safe

Everyone has the right to be safe. This page tells you how we keep you safe.

Abuse is never OK

Abuse is when someone hurts you or treats you badly.

Neglect is when someone does not give you the care you need.

These things are never OK. Not from anyone. Not from us.

We check our workers

Our workers have special safety checks before they start.

Our workers are trained to keep you safe.

Our workers must follow the safety rules.

If something bad happens

We take it seriously.

We listen and we believe you.

We act to make things safe.

For serious things, we must also tell the NDIS Commission. They check on NDIS providers.

If you feel unsafe

Tell someone you trust.
