We're a disability service. Accessibility isn't a nice-to-have for us, it's the whole point. We're committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, whatever technology or assistive tools you use.

Our standard

This website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines used as the benchmark across Australian government and disability services. We test against this standard as the site changes.

What we've built in

• A skip-to-content link and clear, consistent navigation on every page
• Semantic headings and landmarks that screen readers can navigate
• Text and background colours chosen to meet AA contrast ratios
• Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus outline on every control
• Text that resizes and reflows without breaking the layout or clipping content
• Meaningful alternative text for images, and labels on every form field
• Respect for your “reduce motion” setting, no animation forced on you
• A responsive layout designed mobile-first, so it works well on a phone

Adjusting your experience

You can zoom to at least 200% using your browser (usually Ctrl / Cmd and +) without losing content. The site also honours your device's text-size, high-contrast and reduced-motion settings.
